We were thrilled to see ourselves in the pages of this iconic New York newspaper.
The New York Post spoke with Pearl River President Joanne Kwong about how fate brought us to our second location in Chelsea Market, and to some loyal customers about their memories of Pearl River. Shawna Rose, a Greenpoint resident recalled weekends of a boozy brunches, "followed by hours at Pearl River exploring and buying, and often wondering, 'How do I get this home?'"
Jennifer Page described Pearl River as "an integral part of any young, struggling, bohemian life-lusting newbie to the city," and when she first moved to Brooklyn decked out "her entire kitchen in Pearl River Mart wares."
